Drop off in the morning, collect a tired dog

Dog daycare

A long day at work is a long day for your dog too. Daycare turns it into play, water and rest with the right crowd.

A daycare group playing together in the shaded yard

Daycare runs the same routine as a boarding day, minus the overnight. Dogs are placed in a group matched by size, energy and temperament, and that placement is looked at again every day rather than set once and forgotten.

Groups go out through the day, several times over, weather and heat index permitting, and stay out as long as they are enjoying it. In between there is tug-of-war, fetch with a ball, pool time for the dogs who like water, and real rest — a dog that runs flat out for eight hours straight goes home wired and sore.

Who it suits
